In reply to <a href="https://www.cannabisandspirituality.com/call-santa-maria/#comment-3415">Stephen</a>.

Thank you for sharing these words.
A Beautiful way of expressing her healing gift to us.
I have been blessed to work with her spirit consciously over the last two years.
After being drawn to detox my system I have stepped away from all medicines until I have detoxed my system.
I will recommence ceremonial connection with Santa Maria

In reply to <a href="https://www.cannabisandspirituality.com/call-santa-maria/#comment-3414">Al dussault</a>.

Thanks for the note Al dussault. The "pleasing sensation" you mentioned is actually an integral part of the way she heals. Cannabis is, among its other qualities, an energy medicine. As I see it, she heals in a holistic way — body and mind together. The letting go and surrendering is both a mental and physical process. As French philosopher and mystic Pierre Teilhard de Chardin said, "Physical energy must be mastered and grounded for spiritual energy to move, because physical energy transforms the spirit."

A lovely story, a cultivated mind-set that allows and assists we common folks to advocate for conscious cannabis.
I think of Cannabis as a healing herb.

But its healing capacity does not mean that there is no pleasing sensation that accompanies « Santa Maria »

Someplace within this very wide web of activities associated with paralab, i saw an invitation to be an ambassador for consciousness cannabis.

The experience in the group re enforced my fifty plus years of having invited MJ into my life and into my special circle of friends.

I enjoyed the article

From the, "Ritual Use of Cannabis Sativa L." by Emboden
A particularly interesting account of a Tepehua Indian ceremony ( no relationship to Tepecanna) with cannabis was published in 1963 by Mexican ethnologist, Roberto W. Garcia of the University of Veracruz, Mexico. The Tepehua belong linguistically and culturally to the Totonac of Veracruz, the northernmost branch of the Maya language family. In his account of the Tepehua religion and ritual, Garcia describes in detail a communal curing ceremony focused on a plant called Santa Rosa, "The Herb Which Makes One Speak" which he identified as cannabis sativa. According to Garcia, it is worshipped as an Earth Diety and is thought to be alive, comparable to a piece of the heart of God.
